I just used a regular timer for years, set it to come on 3 hours before I needed the tractor. Maybe not as good but worked for me for years.

i just ran a cord from my porch plug in, had a switch inside the back hallway for that plug in, would flip it on a couple hours before i needed the tractor.

Been doing that as long as I can remember, just like you'd use for Christmas lights or something. Works perfectly. |

I do kind of what shameless does but I buried wire from the house to the shed and just flip the switch a couple of hrs before I start it. I even have the light switch that light up so I can tell with it's on or off most of the time I forget to flip it off when I come it.
