A fellow was looking for some 1600 chisel parts on the local craigs list. I decided to sell him some of the spare parts from mine since I ditched the wings. I got $545 for 5 shank assemblies and two lift leg/spindles. He told me his was a 30 ft with 8 wheels and walking axles. He went to fold it and the straps broke on one side as the wings were almost all the way up....both fell down and messed up the legs. He was happy to find parts, I was happy to now have a 9 footer that cost me $105. Take that scrappers! |

NO demand for any disc/plow parts in this neck of the woods. Even IF someone needed parts it would be a tough sale for sure. Have small load getting ready for scrap now, will post pic 1 more time for interested parties, lot's of labor getting parts stripped/shipped, good thing this is just for fun!

Eldon - thanks for helping someone save their piece of Allis tillage equipment. It just kills me to see plows scrapped. I can see that some if a totally worn out plow is melted down...but one that has any good parts on it like coulters, moldboards, landslides, etc. that you can't get anymore should be pulled off as they are the biggest weight items and with a little effort I sure you can get way more than scrap for them.
