Hey great new look isn't it? I finally bought a 5' brush hog type mower for my WD. I only use it to cut the weeds in my pasture. Works great. I have to take off my PTO pump for my loader to use it. Kind of a pain but works. When I put my PTO pump back on it had a lot of wiggle to it. I must have bent the shaft when I hit one of 4 anthills. This surprised me that they would bend the shaft. Anyone have this happen to them before? Do you know where I can get a new shaft? Thanks in advance.... Barry

Barry,
I have had people tell me that snap coupler plows or blades could swing over and bend the shafts. If the splines are good, you don't need a new shaft. With a hydraulic shop press, a flat surface, a marking pen, and a lot of patience, they can be straightened back out. I have done two of my own.

Hi Glen, there is some wear spots about where the front of a snap coupler attachment must have been rubbing. I suppose that created the weak spot. Well at least the ant hills are smooth now. lol Thanks Glen
