We have had other disagreements and people are still here, sometimes things are stated that are misinterpreted and once the parties converse with each other things are fine. I agree it takes a big man to own up and I respect Trace for that. No need to leave we are all grown men on here with a passion for orange except one guy has a hot pink passion but we forgive him also. POKE POKE We can forgive and forget and move on just my 2 cents.

No Harm, No Foul,Trace. You made a mistake, but you owned up to it in front of everybody. Takes a big man to admit he might of spoken out of turn and want to start over. You're prolly under as much or more stress with family issues as I am,,,but I tend to use laughter as an antidote for all my perceived shortcomings and tribulations,,,,altho,,,sometimes when I feel as if I can do no more,,but I manage to find strengths to cope thru even more roadblocks with the support of this magnificent group of the best'est bunch of supporters God managed to bring together.
You gots NO NEED to leave because of a mis-understanding, and I'm thinkin all these fine folks will agree with me.

I apologize joe. uncalled for. I took care of my folks from 1990 when my dad was diagnosed with cancer till he died in 1995. Also my mom from 2003 to 2008 after she was diagnosed with parkinsons. stressfull times for the best of us. I will no longer be on this site anymore, thanks for all the help yoiu guys have given me in the past. best to you all!!

DJ I have never met you but you take perfect care of your wife, we have followed your challenges with your lovely bride, My father took care of my mother for 2 years before we lost her. I did not see anything political just because she's a politician if you would have put a common name in there it would still be funny but not as funny as using Nancy's name. Seems a few folks don't know the difference between "political" and "ideological." Hardly anything that ISN'T "political," since it references "POLICY." Ideology, on the other hand, well... most of the time the ideology is shown from within the construct of the political complaint.
For example, a simple question can be twisted by some; say as simple as, "Hey, Joe, do you know Nancy Pelosi's shoe size?"
Now it was just a simple question. But because she's both a political AND ideological figure, some one of those few will still get a bamboo splinter under their toenail and cry foul. Insert any other non-political -ideological name, and it wouldn't bother them a bit. It didn't attack, it didn't reference any real or perceived alcoholism, or dementia or anything of the sort. But because a recognized, and in these times sensitive, name appears, it is errantly perceived as "political."
Hey, Joe, how's the weather there? CAVEAT!!! - I DID NOT JUST START A POLITICAL-IDEOLOGICAL DEBATE ON CLIMATE CHANGE. Fair warning to the claxon-ringers.

Looking I see you are in Iowa. So Trace no wonder your sick of all the BS being slung. Not one I can think of I would want to sit and drink beer with from any party.
But still Joe needs to stop thinking about the caretaking from time to time. Been there done that with my parents. About any time I could go around the bend myself. So a little laugh keeps it away I hope. Sorry you don't see funny the same way. But that is ok too.
But a big part of are trouble is nobody steps up tells all the "think they are smarter than us folks" how dumb they really are.Toes do need stepping on. But please just move on when you see O'l Joe is not asking how to put a AC 3500 into a Ford or Chevy.
