About 3 weeks ago storms took out  our Electricity around here also, some of the big towers  from Mt. Carmel, Illinois. one neighbor loss machine shed and semi in it, grain leg and bins and damaged house .  Lucky we had a genator used it three days and got power back on a Friday about 7:00 p.m . but, about l0:00 p.m. lighting hit our transformer and computer .  just trying to  catch up . Very little planting started here. Bill

A lot of bad weather all over this spring. We must be living right in Northern Illinois. From what I've seen around here and along I80 in Iowa it appears most of the corn is planted. We have a lot in Northern Illinois that has popped up in the last couple days.
