About 3 weeks ago storms took out our Electricity around here also, some of the big towers from Mt. Carmel, Illinois. one neighbor loss machine shed and semi in it, grain leg and bins and damaged house . Lucky we had a genator used it three days and got power back on a Friday about 7:00 p.m . but, about l0:00 p.m. lighting hit our transformer and computer . just trying to catch up . Very little planting started here. Bill

Welcome back, sorry you've had so many mishaps. Not much corn in the ground anywhere in the midwest.

A lot of bad weather all over this spring. We must be living right in Northern Illinois. From what I've seen around here and along I80 in Iowa it appears most of the corn is planted. We have a lot in Northern Illinois that has popped up in the last couple days.
