I always consult Hemmings Motor News for services of that kind, or smokestak. Yea, it seems pricey for some services, and you don't always get the best results with the lowest quote, but do you want to invest in/ learn a new/ old skill? I repair and recore copper/ brass radiators and it is also a skill that is not in high demand, and with the small volume of work I do , and the few $ it nets , I wonder if the risk of lead poisoning is worth it? Sorry , I can't direct you to a shop that pours babbit.

My boss spent a lot of time reading up on the process and asked a lot of
questions. He bought some Babbitt and set things up to repour main
bearings in his 25-40 Hart Parr. After several failed attempts, he had
me make new bearings out of 660 bronze. Old Reliable has been running
fine for the last 5 show seasons.

Paul's rod and babbitt, Parkville Mo. I have not used them, but they advertise in all major antique magazines. They will be my next stop for future projects. Dave.
