I know where there is b112 with a bad engine. appears coplete with turning plow. I would like get it if engine could be found. I think it would be good for cultivating  after crops are to large to cultivate with other equipment. I am tired of the pig weeds always winning. does anyone have any ideas. b112 looks narrower than lawnmowers of today

The Briggs engines for those are not hard to find. I picked up 2 16hp briggs from craigslist this year, both of them in good running condition. I don't now what all size engines will fit these frames but the 10hp-16hp early cast iron Briggs will. Just make sure it is the same style engine.

Parts are still available for those old cast iron Briggs one lungers. If you still have a non-ventilated block(no rod hanging out), you should be able to put it back to good. Check on Cragslist, E-bay, and others. You should be able to find anything you need. It is easiest to put the original block style back in there, though they are not hard to modify for much larger engines. I had a neighbor with a B-112. He has a sickle-bar mower, front blade, mower deck, and several other implements for it. Tough little machine, and will do some serious work for it's size.
I didn't do it! It was a short, fat, tall, skinny guy that looked like me!
