    Posted: 21 Nov 2011 at 1:26pm
Is there a source for the spring loaded latch that's spot welded to the inside of the door on the model B tool box (see image)?  I'd like to restore my tool box but the latch is beyond usable and I'd like to find a replacement.  As always, any help is gretaly appreciated.
Jim

pop out the pin and just get a "new" door.  just be sure which way the hinge is oriented, as there are not equal number of "loops" per side, as Bill P SEMI found out.

The latch on my B is missing but the hinge is a little stiff up at the top. I open the door when I park it in the shed so mice don't move in right away. If you leave the door closed, they're in there in a week.
