Have a 1955 A/C model B. How do i set the throttle rod ?

The governor rod goes across the front of the motor from the governor, under the thermostat housing, and sticks out on the left side. A second rod is connected at that point to the carburetor............ Disconnect the carb rod from the governor rod.....Set the THROTTLE lever wide open...... pull the carburetor rod wide open... See that the carburetor rod aligns with the hole in the governor rod at the front left of engine... If not, BEND the governor rod so the carburetor rod fits in with a slight PULL on the rod, ( no slop)............... thats it.
