Define easy. Some pictures at the link that might help a tad. I didn't take them with a complete instruction manual in mind. If I remember correctly I was trying to show someone the pocket that catches oil to oil the idler gear bearings that get filled with thick gunk that can keep that shaft from being oiled. One track mind. Could have covered more at the time. http://public.fotki.com/DickL/allis_b_transmissio-1/ Edited by Dick L - 25 Apr 2010 at 11:06am

I am doing one right NOW ,I found the washer (wave ) behind 3 rd gear thurst washer and the bearing washer was broken. When I took the shifter cover off  cover off I could move  3rd gear all around .Few bearing and some WAVE washers and it was fixed .Ofcorse i took the complete trans apart to do correctly. Dave give me a call ,its more then one thing that can make them jump out of gear .

This is such a RARE item cause the B with regular gears just does not jump out of gear.  Then I have to remember we are looking at units that are 50 - 70 years old.  Some have been sitting, rusting, for years.  Things happen you never think or thought of.
Take good care of my favorate. Good Luck! Bill Long
