1940 B -wishbone front suspension.
I am rebuilding the front spindles on this tractor. I just installed some new felt seals and they are putting quite a bit of resistance on the rotation of the spindle. Is this normal with new seals? I put some gear oil on them for a little lubrication. Will these things break in? |

I bought some that were WAY too tight (yes I soaked them). I had to buy another set from a different vendor, they worked fine. Sorry, don't remember where I got the good ones..
