Is there a difference in a marvel schebler carb off a 49 B and a Zenith carb off a 39 B?  Can they interchanged?  Thanks!

39B won't start with hand crank.  Switched carburetors between 39 & 49 B's, 49 runs fine with the 39 carburetor, but 39 still does not start.  After a few turns with hand crank gas will drip out bottom of carburetor.  Need some advice or ideas on what to check.  Thanks!

Each hand crank tractor seems to have it's own preferences for starting procedure!Wink.  My '39 B with Zenith carb likes gas on--one pull over with full choke, then choke off and one more pull over and it's usually running.  Depending on outside temperature, I might have to add a little choke 'til it warms up a little.

Too many cranks with the choke on will usually flood it and then it can be a devil to start!!
