Hey everyone just curious as to what yall think is or should be the average cost of a allis chalmers M crawler? I found a guy selling a fairly good looking regular M with extra parts (chains, idlers, radiator, hood, engine ect). Biggest problem is he isnt willing to sell any of the parts separate of the tractor and he wants 4500 for everything. We mainly just want the extra chains and somewhat the radiator but were willing to buy all the extra parts if the price was right. I know its not that bad of a price but were not rich and it hardly makes sense to spend a ton of money on what is essentially a yard ornament and/or a extra tractor we dont need. Its also really hard to justify since recently Id seen 5 M crawlers on ebay for sale with extra parts for 1800 and it didnt sell in the month listed. That person also wasnt willing to sell any parts separate.
Anyways just curious what yall think? I highly doubt it but if anyone out there is looking for a decent M crawler to restore and would be willing to go in on buying it so we can buy the parts let me know. Im just trying to fix up my dads old tractor so he can take it to the annual local tractor show.

Old tractors are worth what someone is willing to pay. Your option is to buy the tractor and extra parts, then sell off what you don't need. My first crawler was an M. I put a lot of time and money into keeping it running. Then I bought an HD5. The HD5 did what I needed the dozer for and it was easier to get replacement parts.
