If the CA is the same, the ones on my Delco measure 6.5" overall, 6.25" from the shoulder to the end. My conversion shows 16.5cm and 15.875cm.
Maximum use of available resources!

thanks the spare i have is 6 1/4 ins overall so it may be the rite one after all, I had the idea it was too short and possibly from a generator

There is a field coil in the hole if you put the bolt in wrong it cold short out the coil.
I put a piece of heat shrink on mine.
