Lots of wfe CA tractors popping up in PA. This one looks to be in great shape. Not mine.

They always say restored but no details of what they call restored .

You mean the fools surcharge. Why would anyone pay extra for the privilege to buy something.Wacko Auctioneers that charge a buyers premium are telling you up front that they are CROOKS.Thumbs Down Don't they charge the seller for their services?Confused If they are charging the buyer they are supposed to be working for the buyer who would like a LOW price and if the are working for the seller, the seller wants a high price. YOU CAN'T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS Angry
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.

No one makes you buy it at an auction. Its not hard to add in the 10% and tell yourself when to stop bidding. Everyone wants it for free and delivered....

Some auctions charge the buyer fee b/c the stuff is not thought to be worth much, so not worth enough $$ otherwise to the auctioneer to work the sale.

I just looked at the CA.

It is not what I call restored. It has a so-so paint job that was done with the tractor partially disassembled. No paint on coil side facing engine block, paint on wiring, paint on hoses...

Seems rear main seal leaks from leak at clutch inspection hole.

Pros - it runs, radiator is very good and has shutters, hand clutch feels good, stored inside during life, great tires - fresh.

Negs fresh engine oil smells of fuel, transaxle dipstick was dry - maybe no oil in it/serious leaker? Both rear rims have functional rust repairs, just not pretty.
