When I was a boy, back in the day, there were Auburn hard rubber toy tractors. This is a much later one that is hollow. As I recall, the early ones were a solid casting and quite small, perhaps 5 inches long. This one is quite a bit
lighter and larger. It looks most like a WC.

I drove one 100,000 miles in the sandbox. That tractor could do just about anything. Just like Dads real thing. ( I had the hollow one too). Hadn't thought about that toy for years. Looking forward to the picture. Regards, Chris

Fred, I assume that's the solid one? IIRC the hollow one I had did not have a driver??? Been 60 years I may be wrong? Regards, Chris

I'm sitting here looking at 1 on my shelf, along with the D17 i got in 1959 when dad bought a new 17 and mounted picker, nope not for sale

I have one that never was painted. When I started working in a plastic factory back in 1959 I ran a press making small rear tractor tires for Auburn Rubber and Bar Rubber. We also ran tractor bodies for Bar Rubber that some of was shipped to Auburn Rubber.

Was my first tractor too. In 1962 while painting things up for my Grandfathers Sale my Uncle painted my red Auburn AC orange with silver rims. It got used hard and is missing the mans head, exhaust pipe and part of the steering column, but it still has a spot in my toy case with the other newer "collectable" AC's. My grandsons will have to fight over it someday...Harvey
