Took a business trip to NYC and decided to take a walk and look at "The Tree" at Rockefeller Center that everyone kept talking about.  Wasn't all that;  we've got better back here at home.  What they do have, that we don't, are numerous squads of 4 Policemen roaming around in full riot gear and carrying 'At the Ready' Assault rifles.  All the police cars had flashing LEDs warning of Terrorist threats and who to call for suspicious activity.
I didn't linger and headed back to the hotel think how sad it is that this kind of security is needed at the most peaceful time of the year.  For sure wasn't my kind of Christmas......

Just one sample of what happens when you have a divided nation. Unfortunately it will more than likely continue to worsen rather than improve. So thankful that my wife and I live in a relatively safe, rural setting. May God's blessings be with each of you on this forum during this season of celebration!

LOL. They didn't need my 6'5", two hundred & too many pound arse falling and breaking their ice. Plus it would have sounded like a gunshot and then we'd had really big drama.......
