Been noticing more and more ads on FB, people selling cb radio's lately. I quit running mine several years ago due to little to no help on the roads, just a lot of chatter around truck stops.

I know cb usage really dropped when cell phones came on the scene.
With evermore encroaching laws regulating phone use in commercial vehicles, it’s possible cb’s may make a comeback. I know at one time a cb radio in commercial vehicles were considered a piece of ‘safety equipment’ thus, laws about use of hand held devices did not apply to cb radios. I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.

In contrary to the original question... Seeing an increase in frequency of things being 'for sale' does not constitute a 'resurgence of interest'... in contrast, it demonstrates that there's someone trying to get rid of something they no longer want. ![]() |

Ten Amendments, Ten Commandments, and one Golden Rule solve most every problem. Citrus hand-cleaner with Pumice does the rest.

I noticed that with business radio's, the frequency they are on is illegal to use now but didn't stop people from trying to dump the worthless units online. On the other hand, when a snow storm came through, I saw a lot of LP space heaters for sale.
