 Topic: Are b cultivator shanks different than the rest?

I stopped by my local tractor junkyard and found some different cultivator shanks. They all looked to big for the b. The shaft was much heavier. Did the b use something different?

Seems like the diameter of the shank is 1 3/8".

There are square and round shanks. They take different clamps...

Most of the B shanks, except for the rear, were flat steel bars, !/2" X 2" inserted into a bracket that was square where it mounted to the frame. The shanks could be slid up and down and locked in with a lock bolt, to set the depth so they all dug at the same depth.
I think the rear ones were 1 1/8" or 1 1/4" diameter. Bob

chalmersbob is right. The b rectangle shank is smaller than the other Allis shanks I found. I need the rectangle shanks. I also need the clamps and rear sweeps for behind the tires. these are proving hard to find.

Jesse, Like I said in the PM, I know I got them, I just got to get to the farm and dig them out of the pile. I have more of these 60 cultivators than I even know, I mean I have no idea how many are there.... Glenn

tracy...is roger van camp still living?he is real close to my farms in indiana.brought several items from him,but he had cancer real bad.didnt go to his place last november...
