Is there any parts that are not sold by any of the usual sources or parts you would like to see a better quality of. The reason I ask it I'm looking for parts I could reproduce and sell as I am not able to get a normal day job. Thanks for any ideas?

Do a Google search for gas tanks for a B. All sorts of other sheet metal parts are out there, but a new gas tank for a B is not to be found. Even finding a used tank is a trick. Of course building the dies to stamp form the two halves would cost a small fortune. Injection/blow molding still would require forms/dies. Fiberglass could be done if after the two halves are joined a sealing liner was employed as ethanol mixed gas will cause leaks. The kicker is after all the work is done just to make a reliable tank you might sell 6 a year.

Tall order, to find enough of a market for reproducing parts to support yourself, by the sounds of it, that's what you want by the statement of finding a day job.  You could move here, we are hiring.

What equipment do you have, and what are your talents or specialties?  Seems you could start a repair and light machining or welding business and be "somewhere" closer to what you're looking for.

Hydraulic parts! Controls, valves, seals, rebuild kits, etc. All the parts sites are extremely limited on the hydraulic parts they carry.

Gearing might be a good option. I see a lot of people on here looking for and having a hard time finding them. I'm sure other makes have the same problems.

Drawbars.  Manufacture or refurbish drawbars for the earlier stuff, pre- three point hitch.  Every antique tractor I've bought had a buggered up drawbar.  Cracks, bends, bad welds, and ovaled out holes.  Find old ones or the ones your customers send you and make'em right.  Straighten, weld, fill, grind , and machine as needed. Then sand blast, powder coat and ship to the customer.

You might be surprised what some folks will give for a factory fresh B or CA drawbar?  To increase production you could also service other tractor brands as well as AC.

Are the bolts tapped into the block or all the way through?

I'm in need of a couple of those blade pivot blocks. The bolt holes are tapped. I have two blocks with snapped off bolts in them that I couldn't dig out. So I have a blade in pieces because I need replacement blocks. It's on one of my many "to-do" lists.

Does anybody in central mn have one of these blades or could send me more exact measurements of them? It looks like the back block has a flat piece attached for the angle adjustment correct?
