I suspect its from the legacy days when AC was in the electrical equipment business, Constant Oil Pressure System  or COPS is still used on most large transformers and the Safety/Relief valve is a necessity.

You guys are good!!!!!! The decal is placed on transformers by the pressure relief valve. I still work on A-C electrical equipment almost everyday. The transformer in this picture  was used on the beach. It is made of stainless steel and in good condition for being exposed to such a harsh environment. Very few things survive after being on the beach for even a year or two.
