I do not, but 14 of our senators apparently do.

Dogtown, You won't find it on a map but randy and Brian F know where it is. 8 miles east of Paxton about 8 miles north of Penfield, home of the I&I Antique Tractor and Gas Engine Club hosting Historic Farm Days and The Half Century of Progress (see the show guide). Not much of a collection but you are welcome to stop and see my 20 something tractors.

I'm "FROM" Illinois. Moved to Texas in "68". Born in Blue Island. Went to grade school in Chicago and Orland Township. Graduated from Carl Sandburg Highschool in "58". Grew up on Chicago's Last Farm on 111th and Crawford ave. Moved to Orland Park in the 8th grade. Built a new house in South Holland in sombodys onion patch after I got hitched. Drove Allis Tractors and Studebaker cars and pickups. Don't get back home very much these days.
Winter is about 4 months shorter in Texas. It has been in the 70s for the last 10 days and some trees are budded out. Daffodils, english peas and strawberries are in bloom. Frogs are cherpin down by the pond. The yard was full of Robins on their way north for the summer.  Average last freeze is March 15.
I planted 500 pounds of Minnisota seed potatoes last week. By hand. One piece at a time. Lasota, Kennbebeck and Yukon Gold. Need a rain. 80% chance late Thursday

Aw you guys, just because they turn out the lights and roll up the gravel driveways at night doesn't mean it isn't a great place. Heck, last week there were a couple of indians that wandered out of the timber hunting for buffalo. I hear that we may even get 'lectricity and them new fangled talking machines that Mr.Edison invented soon!
