I took her to the doggie Dr. today for the first time in her life. She must be 6-8 years old. I had to buy a coller and a lish. She had never had 1 on before. It took a while for me to get her in the front seat of the pickup. She did not like it. It's about 12 miles to the vet clinic. By the time I got her there my arms were really scratched up from her climbing all over me. First time she had been in a vehicle since she was a very little pup. When I got here there, opened the door she jumped out and got under the pickup. It was tough getting her outta there. I got her inside the vet clinic, got her weighed, 28 lbs. Yep she's gained some weight this winter. They had me take her into a little room and wait awhile. This little lady vet came in, lifted her up on the counter, talked to her a little while and got 2 shots into her rabies and a shot for something else. Annie was calm as a palm tree with no breeze blowing. The vet lady also checked for ear mites, she didn't have mites but did have infection in both ears. I've got a big ol bottle of stuff to squirt into her ears the next 7 days and a worm pill that I've got to get her to eat somehow. I've got some meat out in the freezer of my shed thats been in there at least 2 years. I think I'll wrap it up in that and see if she'll eat it. Annie was calm all the way home I actually thought she was asleep in the back seat. Totally different than when we went to the clinic. This lady vet was a real stunner. About 5.2 and sharp as a tack.

We had a Jack Russell / Brittan Spaniel mix female for over 14 years. She was a great dog! Her  name was Katie.
