WF appears to use WD parts, but a narrowed rear with the gears turned forward for less clearance and a shorter wheel base. That's probably simplified. I've seen a few at shows. Worth comparing to a WD.

When you compare #'s made they are quite rare compared to WC/ WD's. There were 6450 in the streamlined version compared to over 100,000 WC's and 230,000 WD/WD45's. They were based on the WC and made from 1937-1951.

The WF is the standard tread version of the WC. I'd like to get one someday. Yep, considerably more rare compared to the WC.
