Don,
Good old American steel trailer.
Custom built by my welder.
An aluminum trailer would have failed long ago.
It still is relatively light.

Anthony,
Yes the trailer was custom built.
It is a steel trailer with red oak deck.
There have been many design changes
over the years.
My experience has been you have to build
it yourself if you want it done right ....

interesting picutres, what is the strap over the hood doing, just holding down the hood. Also do you ever use chains? It looks like you just have that tractor strapped on by the front. Do you use 10,000 lb straps?

The strap on the hood is holding the hood from flying off ...
Regarding tie downs, I prefer 10K straps because they secure the load
and still will give slightly for bumps on the road.
I travel at 55 m.p.h. during the day so unexpected stops are minimal.
The McCormick Deering 22-36 you reference had (6) points of tie down
including the 13,000 pound winch line.

I like the way you use short straps with rings on the ends to wrap around axles and stuff, this would not hurt the paint, where do you get those or did you have them made. I just hauled a Farmall home I bought in kansas and I hate having to wrap short pieces of chain around the axles and then hooking a come along on the chain to support it. Where do you get those

Those are 'axle straps'.
You can find them at Tractor Supply or order them thru
Redneck Trailer.

Hello,
Harrisonville is about 200 miles due west outside of Kansas City I think ?
If you email me the pick up & drop off zip codes along with a description
of the tractor (make & model) I can reply with a price.
I need to know if it runs or rolls, if it steers, if the tires hold air,
if there is calcium water in the tires - axle weights - suitcase/frame weights.
My email address is @ trulyvintagetransport@hotmail.com
Thanks,
Jim
