I just watched the movie "At close range" starring Sean Penn and Christopher Walken. It was made in 1985 and was based on the true story of family of thieves in Pennsylvania back in the 60s and 70s. In the movie one of the things they targeted was farm tractors. All the tractors in the movie were the new 70 series, there was no mention of Allis in the credits. I cought a blupper, they were stealing some new ACs in front of a IH store. If you havent seen this movie it is a good one.

"The messegers" in 2009 was a scary flic were they move out to a sunflower farm. There is a D17 diesel shown up by the barn then later he gets it running. There was a toyota comercial that had what looked like a 180 a couple years ago.

If I remember right that was no blooper. It was real dealership that sold both Allis Chalmers and IH equipment and obviously favored the Allis tractors.

It had been a while for the thread, but I finally figured out how to capture a picture from the film clip. There was a CA in the beginning of the movie "It Happened at the Worlld's Fair" with Elvis Presley. Just wanted to share, as it was a high crop. |

Another one I remember was from "The Mating Game" with Tony Randall and Debbie Reynolds. It had a D14 I believe. I remember watching it when I was young and I think further in the movie is a much closer look at it. This is from the opening. The movie is from 1959 I believe.

In the Movie "Flags of our Fathers" I think there was a CA at the end of that movie.
