Was watching the Olympics last night. There was a Chevy pickup commercial - it's a bunch of guys and their trucks that reclaim a vacant lot for a baseball field. One of the scenes shows a truck towing a dead tractor - what's left of it - our of the ground. I could swear that it was an Allis - maybe a C or a CA....could see that rear wheels, gas tank and what looked like a SC implement when they flipped the wreck on its back.

Dave,
Saw that same commercial Saturday while watching a fishing show on ESPN. Indeed was a B or C. I have a DVR so I could rewind and pause and such. It was indeed an AC tractor.

There was another show or commecial the other day I saw someone driving a 180 or 185 it was a good shot showed all the tractor. I was so shocked at the time I forgot if it was and ad or show. I think the tractor was driving by a house/barn or the side of a grain bin.

I DVR'd the show, too and played that commercial backward and forward a dozen times! Hard to make out some of the details that would have been nice to have been able to see, but it sure looked like a C or something close to it.

gee, that shot lasted only about 2 seconds, you guys are nuts to be able to pick that out, only an obseeive complusive gearhead would see that. besides I watched it a hundred times, looks like a part of a cultivator was attached to a c.....

tbran - that was the nicest thing any one has said about me in a long time! LOL. Hard to make out what was attached other than it appeared to be a SC implement... that and the wheel design is what made me think it might have been a CA. Gas tank looked useable - hope someone parted it out!
