I am kind of a new allis guy. My dad sent me these pics and asked if I was interested. A friend of a friend has it for sale. Story is an old man set it up for pulling and parked it there 15yrs ago. I know nothing else about it other than these pics. Said he thought it was a w40, which I don't think is a thing. Maybe a wd-45? Thoughts?

Yep! WD45. Unless it's a very late WD as per the serial number under the left rear brake cover on the back.

WD-45 with Oliver wheel weights on the rear wheels, and IHC wheel weights on the back side. $500 in weights alone.
Pre-WW2 A-C tractors on steel wheels...because I'm too cheap to buy tires!

I thought I saw a plate on the right side of the engine block which would indicate a WD not a WD45. Possibly a late WD with the curved shift level used on the WD45.

I have a cockshutt 30d and 570d. They look kind of like the ones on 30, but not quite the same.

I think if you look closely, you can see the casting "nub" on the side of the block between the oil filter and the distributor which indicates it is a WD-45 block without the plate.
