Hi all I am trying to get a engine for my G running it was meant to be a runner I have a good spark and when I tip some gas down the spark plug hole and hand crank it all i get is flames out the exhaust were do I go from this point and what do I try next .

It sounds, to me, like your timing is way off, maybe even 180 degrees?

I agree, sounds like timing is off.

Also, be very careful hand cranking if you aren't sure the timing is right. When it sparks at the wrong time, it could easily kick on the crank and the crank could hit you. There have been MANY broken arms from cranking an engine that is slightly out of time.

Hi all I think I have the timing about right no flame out the exhaust it now puffs smoke and sounds like it wants to go. a bit more tinkering and I should have it running

Hi all I am as happy as a dog with two tails I have been able to get this little G engine to run and it runs smoothly.

Yes it was out by 180 degrees and a new set of spark plugs
