I am looking at an Allis forklift that has a bad motor. I cant seem to find much info on it. Hopefully someone can tell me where to search. It is a model ACP 50 DSPSSNLG Serial # AJK 132252. Was wondering what motor it would have in it, and if parts are still available. It runs on propane.

Thanks Brian

picture would help.... 5,000# capacity, maybe a 4 banger Buda 153 ??
Mine's a Buda 153 diesel, when it finally dies I plan to replace with 2 14HP gas engines, one for drive ,other for hydraulics ..heckuva lot cheaper than the 5K to rebuild the diesel.
If it's really a Buda153, Cockshut 30 tractor has same basic engine.
Jay, the other Canuck !

hmm I think I saw that on Kijiji as well...considering it weighs 7000# unless it was dropped off here, I couldn't afford the haulage fee to Hamilton. Continental engines real common..think Willys trucks, tow motors, welders, sandblaster, tree chippers, etc.
