Was just looking up the Allis Chalmers Story by WINDELL 
Dang glad I bought mine way back a few years as could not afford the hard copy now .

Thats quiet a price jump, but Im guessing he only printed some many copies, got mine cheap too

I got 2 of the paperback back in '09, invoice still in one of them, paid $14.98 ea. and free shipping....

my hardback copy(silver WC, Not the blue one) I bought back in the early '90's was like $39.00 or something,,(bought from Central Tractor) I thought that was high for a history book....It got well used,, the binding gots a little loose,, so I got the paperback copies...dang sure money ahead now!!

I bought this book a ways back and evidently loaned it to a friend - he returned it about 2 years later - I had forgotten all about it . 
 Now as a hard copy with the same picture as this one - and for I think $29.00 then it looks like value went up some .
