Hi Folks -

I still have several cases of the book Allis-Chalmers Story:Classic American Tractors: by C.H. Wendel -Krause Publications, 2004.   These books are brand new (never out of the Publishers case)  and originally sold for $29.98 and are now out of print and no longer available new from the publisher.   The cheapest price I can find anywhere online is around $30, and I will sell them today for $14.98 and include free shipping for any forum members who order off this site.  The books will ship via media mail, which typically takes about 7 days to arrive (Plenty of time for Christmas delivery).   I will include a direct order link below to our website, and can take phone orders if you prefer to call in an order.   Note: The website will calculate shipping at the time the order is placed, but you enter the promo code "allis" to remove it, or just ignore the shipping charge, as I run the payments manually and will remove the shipping at the time the order is processed.   Thanks - I hope everyone has a great Holiday season!   Jon / Books Revisited  320-259-7959

Softcover, this title is brand new, no writing, marks or shop-wear. An excellent copy and reference - Gift quality! The signature orange of Allis-Chalmers tractors symbolizes the reliability and innovation of the company, its sales methods and its products. Today, tractor and farming equipment enthusiasts continue to be fascinated by Allis-Chalmers and the history behind its success. This remarkable pictorial history leads them through 150 years of tractor and farm equipment production from one of the top names in the industry. This tour through Allis Chalmers history begins with the founding of Gate Iron Works in 1842, and ends with the final Deutz-Allis merger in 1985. All Allis-Chalmers equipment produced within that period is featured in over 1,500 detailed photos and captions. The book also covers the firms absorbed by Allis through their history including Advance-Rumely, Monarch, and LaCrosse. Previously in print at $29.98.

I bought one from this company when they posted on here about a year ago. Good Books and a good company to deal with

That is a good book, and, if you are not a "hardcover snob", a great price....

Every serious Allis collector should have a copy of this book, as well as Swinfords.

I am trying to contact you to order a couple of these books-but I get a fax machine with the listed phone number, and I can't seem to add to the "cart". I sure don't want to miss your special offer.
edit-I see your store hours are 10:00 to 6:00. That might have something to do with not reaching you by phone.
another edit-all is well. I already have the hard cover version of this book, but my sons are showing interest in the proud heritage of Allis Chalmers, and I fear my copy will get some rough use, so I think giving them each their own copy and encouraging this affliction might be might best option.

If it weren't for the last minute, I wouldn't get anything done!
