We have several Allis Chalmers B series lawn mowers and really would like to find a loader for them. I know they are rare and hard to come by. Do they ever come up for sale on here, Ebay, Craigslist? Or do I just need to rely on word of mouth? What is usually the price range of them? I just haven't ever seen one for sale.

I've seen them come up on E-bay once in a great while. Last summer one came up on E-bay with a Buy it Now for $950. Somebody nabbed it cause' it was gone a couple days later. Wasn't on a Tractor. Was on a pallet. Looked like it was all there. Not sure if that's a good price or not. I guess it just depends on how bad ya want it. I thought that was a little on the high side, but you don't see to many of em'. They're out there, its just a matter of being in the right place at the right time to score one...

The loaders for these aren't hard to find, and come up numerous times each year, but they are quite popular and vanish fast. If you want a certain condition (no repairs, no mods, original paint, etc), then you can really spend some time searching.

Rare in this part of country We never sold any loaders for them (GT). and hardly see one on any brand locally. We sold hundreds of them on compact tractors. And You would be better off with one of them with loader.
