No, but I better check my online trading account. Bought a few shares, and I mean a few, several weeks ago. Maybe I'm finally rich :>) Bob@allisdowneast

Yep, I'm rakin in the dough. Bought 10 shares of ALY a few weeks ago for $6.30 a share plus $7.00 brokerage fee. That's an even $70.00. Trading today for $7.06. So I have "made" $0.60. But if it gets above $7.70, I can sell and make a "profit" after paying the $7.00 fee. Good thing I only do this for fun. Bob@allisdowneast

Dick, I hear you. My stock trading hobby has yielded more profit than my tractor buying/fixin up hobby. Bob@allisdowneast
and just so no one gets the wrong idea, I haven't made big bucks on stock.

It could be other things (like a yet unannounced drilling contract), but it's probably following the price of oil up.

What is the current status of Allis-Chalmers Energy?  I read it was bought out by another company. Then heard the deal was not yet settled.  There was speculation that the name and logo could be sold. Does anyone have any insite on this?
