Hi, I'm new to this forum. Just picked up a B-112 with rear tiller. Very good shape. Unfortunately it's been repowered with a Briggs and Stratton I/C 16HP so it's not original. Tractor is AC orange. Just wondering if orange paint was an option or if someone repainted it orange at some point instead of yellow? Thanks for your help!

Orange was not an optional paint.  Yellow was the paint color but I like them better orange.  As for the 16hp engine, MHO is you've got the best.  12 hp parts are pretty hard to find as most are NLA.

The yellow under the B-112 Decal looks to be the original

I agree! I wouldn't worry that the engine was changed. The engine that's in that machine is  one hell-a-va upgrade to the old B/S. That was a good purchase on your part I'm thinkin'..... Although they look bitchin' in Orange, Yellow was the OEM color as the guys mentioned..... I like both colors, and I'm not a big fan of Yellow, but that Yellow is a nice color Yellow. Wheels where cream if I remember correctly...

Thanks for the info guys. Whoever painted it did a pretty good job so I'll probably just leave it the way it is for now. I just plan on using it to till my garden. Not bad for a $50 tractor!
