Until you start diagnosing what is wrong not sure we can be of help. A lot of things can cause engine issues, once you get it make sure it has fire to the spark plug first. And go from there.

Start with the basics. A Gas Engine needs 3 things to run: Fuel - Air - Spark Like 720 says, make sure it has spark. Then move on. For the past year you have been on the Forum requesting help with a dismantled Engine in an Allis D-12. Now your starting another project regarding a Allis Model 912 Engine. and you ask the simplest of questions ! How do I remove the engine ? How the hill do you think you would remove the Engine ? Unbolt the appropriate bolt, nuts, brackets, wiring, cables etc that are attaching the Engine to the Tractor and then lift it out. What am I missing here ? G |

There are many excellent YouTube videos on how to do whatever project on repairing/tuning Garden Tractors. I have found Zippo Varga to be one of the best, and he seems to specialize in Allis Chalmers and Simplicity(identical to Allis Chalmers - same ownership/manufacturer). He explains lots of details, and speaks at a level most owners can understand Here is a link to one of his recent vids. The second link is his YouTube video library Good luck PS he has several videos showing in great detail how to remove trhe engine

I got the engine pulled and the piston disconnected at the bottom but it won't pound out.
Also the flywheel seems to be seized. So far it needs gaskets possibly piston rings |
