Reading through the operators manual on this tractor. It doesn't say much about the foot clutch pedal besides use it for starting the engine and emergency stops. So far as I can tell it just detensions a set of dual belts. I don't see whay I can use it as a normal clutch especially as mine has a loader but I don't want to break something. Can I use the clutch normally? It'd be awful handy when using the loader.

Other than an increase in wear of the belts and pivot hardware from the "extra" disengagement/engagement, it shouldn't be a problem.  The increased wear and tear may be minor overall depending actual usage.  With the 620 and 720 I had, mostly used the hydro even with the front mounted snowblower.

Ok, yea I'd expect the belts to not last quite as long. This thing is going to have an easy life with me. I got tired of breaking stuff long ago so now I always try to go easy. Even if it's not as fast it still beats a shovel and wheel barrow and downtime slows you down anyways.

only time i use the clutch is starting and hitching up somthing  just pick a gear so you are using most of the range of the stick.     dont use the hydro stick like you are swinging a base ball bat  and it will  be fine
