I think we have reached the "hump" in the project, things are mostly all apart and starting to go back together.

Here is a long overdue part 27. Fall is right around the corner, and I hope that will bring more tractor time with it.

Jacob. those small pieces of cast iron shrapnel may be chips from the internal teeth on those cast iron drive hubs. If the ones you have are perfect, then they may be from a previous set of hubs that were replaced due to excessive wear. I know of several 20-35's that had them replaced over the years including one of my own.

Phil, yes that is the best explanation I have for the shrapnel as well. I have yet to fully clean up the final drives, so there is a chance there is a few chips out that I haven't noticed, time will tell...
Until then, here is part 34: and here is Part 35:

Jacob, Take a look at standard EMT tubing for the sparkplug wire tube. Although the wall thickness might be a bit thin compared to the original, 1" EMT might do the trick |

Gatz, That is exactly what I ended up going with. I have the piece of conduit on hand, just need to figure out how to bell the ends, and cut some holes. You'll be seeing that in a few weeks, that is the downside/upside to getting a bunch done over Christmas break, I have a few weeks backlog of videos waiting to be released, so I am a bit "ahead" of what you guys are seeing. Thanks! Appreciate all the comments!

Interesting collection of videos.
To answer your question in this last video on the bars. They are torsion bars in some front ends of cars an trucks. It’s the front suspension. Fits into the front like A arms then goes back under and fits in these keys that has adjustment. Basically twists that bar to act like front springs

Thanks for that info Mike, torsion bars seems to be the answer, I have gotten several comments and texts from people after that video was released stating that is what they are for. That is what is nice about YouTube, there will be someone who knows if you don't. Thanks!
