I am trying to rewire an old allis c. The current wiring harness is on the side of the tractor where the starter rod and generator is. Is that where it should run or should it be under the gas tank?

The wiring harness runs under the battery box, through a channel on the right side of the tool box , where 1 #10 wire goes to the starter, then comes out under the gas tank and runs behind the air filter mounting bracket, behind the carb up to the generator ( 2 wires, 1 #10 and 1 # 14). 1 wire then goes to the terminal on the radiator shroud for the lights, and the last wire goes under the water neck, where it gets attached to bolt, and over to the mag. The Battery cable runs through the top of the tool box and out the hole next to the starter. Hope this helps. LOL Bob
