I recently bought a C that I'm going to be using a finish mower with. The rear pto seal leaks and it has the small 1 1/8" shaft. I can't find the seal part number on the seal or the internet. The one I took out was a rubber seal, but I read on another post that they had a leather seal and it may need a sleeve over the shaft for the rubber seal? Also, how big of a finish mower will a C handle?

The Agco # is 70206538. You should be able to get the National Seal # at a bearing supply if you measure the ID & OD. I have used the rubber seals without a Speedi-Sleeve with out a problem.
A good running C or B will handle a 6' Finnish mower if you don't let the grass get out of control.

I put a rubber seal in mine without a speedy sleeve and it hasn't leaked yet. A Good running C will easily handle a 6' finish mower. If it's set up correctly you can mow way taller grass than you should ever let your yard get. I have a woods L306 when the well feralized grass in the dogs yard get over 8 inches it has to be mowed twice to look good but it mows right through it. The rest of the yard can get to 10 to 12 inched before the tractor Boggs enough that I reduce the width of cut. I had an L 59 and gave it away it wasn't wide enough to to mow the tire tracks.

The PTO size dosent matter if you put a woods belly mower on they run off the belt pulley.
