I have worked on equip. for years i have 6-7 crates of new agco parts from 2007-2016. I purchased them with many other parts. I cannot find 95% of them using Agco parts lookup?! Someone told me they may be foreign/European…. How do i find what they are?
An example is “Sensor D86883437” No such number on Agco parts site. We have looked up 50-60 parts only two show up… and these are newer parts? Would really appreciate some help. Thanks |

If # was superceeded I don't think the old # will cross. Would take a dealer to dig it out.

Do you have any idea what they fit. Sometimes you can open the parts book of what you think fits and type number the little box above the index and it will show where in that parts book that number is. I know that doesn’t help much.

These are for all kinds of Agco equipment- s knowing the model is not possible. Not deutz stuff. Alot is massey and Fendt, but why none of these numbers don’t cross reference?
Deallership couldn't find 4 of 5 i gave them and of course i’m irritating them a bit as they want to sell parts ….. i was thinking maybe there was sn old master parts reference manual? It’s frustrating to have hundreds of parts that we cant identify. |

We were able to identify particular part above on a Ukranian site as being for an Massey MF30 Harvester/combine- made in Netherlands in 90s. But weird that it doesnt show in agco parts lookup….

Web sites aren't always as smart as they appear to be. Hence, the parts search function may only be working on some items but not all items.

The AGCO Parts Books website is only for North American Products. We have been an AGCO dealer since day 1 and that is the first time I have seen a D prefix. You will need to work thru the AGCO Europe dealers to identify them.

I see, but how can i do that? Is there a european or international parts lookup? Obviously the european dealers not going to look up hundreds of parts for me. What would you do in my position? Thanks

What brand of dealer was it? I'd start by knowing that. I have no idea how hard it'd be to find a European based equivalent to the US one. The US based one does have country options, I wonder if you chose one of those it'd get you a European list. You may unfortunately be stuck with a bunch of NOS scrap iron. AaronSEIA

In a position like this a person will be hard pressed to sell a good % of parts . I always seen what I can use and sell for a return and scrape the rest .

We have also bought large part inventories before and use/sell what you can identify and the rest goes to trash/scrap. There is no easy way to look up those european numbers from the US. List them online by part number and not figure out what they fit?

There are a few Forum Members that live in The Netherlands, Eg. Johan Straver, that might be able to help you with their Equipment Part Numbers. Gary |

Here’s an example of a part number for a fuel cooler for an 8250 Massey tractor: 3784060M1. Now if you put that number into the Agco parts lookup you get nothing.
But if i go to the “Parts Book” section and put in 8250 and scroll to the fuel section- there it is: 3784060m1….. seems ridiculous that you can’t search the number, but it’s in the parts book??!!! Problem is I would have to know the model to search the part number- that doesn’t help. John Deere, Cat, Case you don’t have this issue. Makes me wonder if they do this on purpose just so people can’t look up numbers? |

Unfortunately if that number is no longer available it won’t come up. As far as I know from my own experience.
When you search part numbers. Only numbers that are currently still available will come up. Like with our old allis chalmers numbers are six digit and you put 70 in front for it to recognize number. Not saying that’s your case though. Also in my experience with allis numbers you have to type in eight digits for it to recognize number. Not sure if there’s similar thing with Massey numbers That’s what I was saying above. If you had a clue what part fits, when your in that book and type number above the index it at least confirms it being in that parts book with what page it’s on.

I hear you. Most of these parts are expensive parts. They are not metal brackets etc. We are finding some of them on european sites $1000 to $3000 Euros- so not stuff you’d wanna scrap…. Lot of electrical - computer- engine parts. Only way we even finding them at all is searching and finding on european parts sites. So they have a way to look up- where tho?😵😅 - some are Fendt for instance and tractors that are sold in the US too, but they have a different number apparently than on agco site….

Dale does your system being agco dealer recognize numbers better then us just looking at agco parts books on line.
I’m curious how did these parts get in the states if they’re European. We’re they sold through US dealer. Good luck

Seems there may be a good reason why these parts are no longer on a parts shelf at a dealer .Good luck .

The dealer side does have a little better search function on the part number side but search by model is the same.
We have seen some European part numbers get here in kits, box breaks and pieces go everywhere and you end up with individual tagged parts that you cant inventory. I assume these parts came out of a warehouse sale where they sell off damage/outdated/overstock/deadstock items by the pallet. Dad always bought a lot at these and we would spend time trying to figure it out, now we do very little because of lack of manpower and the time it takes to sort it out. |

The reason a lot of parts are out there like this: non-selling stock for what ever reason is written off for tax purposes. Under the Thor Power Tool ruleing any written off part MUST be taken out of inventory and disposed of. This has given rise to players like Parts Depot and Vintage Parts who buy these, catalog them and offer them for sale at a reduced price. They are geared for SLOW moving items with huge warehouses. They also scrap a lot of parts. It is a tax game as well as a service to the farmers/dealers. SO if parts came from a scrapper who scrapped them, that would be considered the slowest of slow movers. Not to say, as Dale said, there were not some good parts in 'kits'. We also used to do that - spend a day going thru scrapped parts - find a 'ureka' part - set it on the shelf for 10 years - then it burnt.... If one wants to see a sea of Green paint, walk thru one of these places. Unbelievable the amount of Deere parts scrapped.

Here's a good example of not being able to lookup part #'s on agco site. This is clearly a Fieldstar monitor system commonly used in Fendt, Hesston & others. This part number doesn't show up on Agco parts at all. But is commonly used in Agco brand equipment. Very expensive when new. We are only able to find part numbers if we know the model of equipment they are for. So, not that these parts are foreign or obscure - most are not and are for common equipment used in the US. Agco has obviously changed all their part numbers - it seems I would need an older parts counter master parts catalog, which probably doesn't exist.

OK, I was curious.... dumped '3784060M1' into Google and the very 1st hit said MF 8250 ..... ! Now I'm NOT saying Google will be correct 100% of the time BUT I suggest you try it for a few parts. At least you'll KNOW if a 'hit' is right. meanwhile I put 'Allis-Chalmers AC130 into Facebook Market Place and get trucks, trailers, swingsets, tools, all sorts of NONSENSE..... and NO, never DID find that A-C rider....

Yes that's how we found that part; but most cannot be found even on a Google search or Google search of the Agco parts site. They usually can be found in the "parts book" section if you know the model. But, of course, we don't know the models of the parts so useless. Some we have found with new numbers - it's apparent AGCO has re-numbered as they have so many companies under their umbrella: Massey, Fendt, Hesston, Gleaner etc.... Apparently we are screwed - most are for common equipment used in the US.
I don't think I'm going to get an AGCO dealership to look up hundreds of part numbers for me- as they are in the business to sell them..... this is why I used John Deere when I farmed----

I'd about bet money you couldn't look up parts by their number on the JD page either. From what I read it sucks worse than the AGCO one. Google is your friend. AaronSEIA

We have thousands of Deere parts - It's very rare I can't look up a JD part online. I also have complete master parts catalogs for JD so I can always locate them. Looking up most Agco parts has proved to be impossible unless you have the model of equipment, and many of these parts are from the mid 2000s. Live and learn I guess......
