I have a 6670 with air cooled same engine, parked it in the yard 3 days ago, went to move it this evening and it fires right up and runs away!!!! Please someone help or tell me who to talk to, I need this tractor!!!!

Does it shut off by cutting off fuel or do you have to kill it with brakes?

Those tractors use individual, cam driven, pumps. One pump for each cylinder. They have a common rack or rod that ties them together so that each cylinder gets the same amount of fuel. That rod is controlled by the governor. I would check your throttle cable movement to be sure that it is working freely. If that is ok, then you probably have some sort of governor issue. There are a set of weights inside the governor and function similarly to the weights in a gas tractor. Most of us are familiar with what happens when the weights in a gas tractor fly apart.

IF memory serves correct - pull the oil filler cap neck and see the 'rack' - you have an injector pump trying to seize. IF you can get the rack freed up by moving it fore aft - run about a gallon of ATF in the fuel and continually rev up and down for a while. The rack turns the delivery valve in each pump - one sticking can cause this. It is a rack and pinion system with the pinion in each pump.
