    Posted: 08 Jun 2018 at 1:35pm
Hello,

Have a 410S and I'm finding that it doesn't get up my hill as readily as the 416S I used to use.  So, I'm having a debate with myself: drive belt slipping?  Or under-powered?

My understanding is that an engine swap from the 416S to the 410S isn't really that big of a deal.  But, I thought, given one would involve less time and fewer dollars than the other, there must be some tension adjustment (or something) for the drive belt.

I have the appropriate manuals but can't seem to locate anything that indicates that there actually is a proper way to adjust the belt tension, or that adjusting it is even possible.

Am I just missing it?

Thank you.

I have a 410 with a shuttle drive. When belts get loose, it won't go up a hill in 4th gear. Belt needs adjusted. I need book to adjust properly. Reverse will need adjusted also. It has been a few years since I did mine, but will soon be checking them again. Good luck ok
