My son John and I salvaged two different AC170 halves and joined them together.  A '68 rear half was bolted up to 1973 170D front half. We found & rescued the 'abused' tractor halves over the years and finally got one together and running saturday.

Still a very long way to go, but saved another AC, and feel like a happy proud parent.  Talk about abuse, the '73 model, I believe, still had the original air filter from AC factory. Neither halves had probably been in a shed over 10+yrs.  I'll try to post some photos!

What Model and Name should we call it?
Here's the '68 coming apart.
This is me in back and John up front, with our new kid on the block!

Looks great Bruce!  You should post some more pictures of what you have tucked in the sheds.

Wouldn't it be a 1-seventy?  Nice to save one even half at a time.

Nice job Bruce.  I'm jealous of your shop... I think I see lift posts too.  Nice setup.

Great to see another "abused" Allis being brought back, even it it takes another "abused" one to make it happen. In this case, one good Allis is better than two abused ones. Looking forward to seeing some "after" pictures.
