I spotted this online - not mine. I was wondering if anyone here knows what kind of root digging it was made for - regular scrub brush or something more specific??

Made to dig bare root trees on a nursery setting. Cutter goes under the root ball of tree and lifts it out of the ground

It is a HD4 on high tracks. Be easy to put it back like it was. Low hours to boot. HTH Tracy Martin

That unit was for sale a couple of years ago....not sure if it was the same seller or not. Seems like a pretty specialized machine....Tracy I think you should get it!

Eldon, it would be nice to have. My HD4 came from California. 2200 miles from Gallatin. Long haul no doubt. Tracy

Seems there must have been a lot of these units made as have seen a couple around here at large nursery's . Now if one was to get one looks like there might be enough track and extra sprocket or idler material to make up another track or two.

Life lesson: If you’re being chased by a lion, you’re on a horse, to the left of you is a giraffe and on the right is a unicorn, what do you do? You stop drinking and get off the carousel.
