Just purchased a motor grader. The side plate says D-3097, on another post someone told me it is a 1952. The engine number are 17-80336-z, can anyone give me some info on this engine or direct me to a website or a good book to buy to get more info? I would like to try and find a service manual for it and I have some parts to replace and just want to make sure I am know what I have.

Also,
On the opposite side of the engine it is stamped AM 4660-3 and under that it appears to have NC-28U stamped, but it is kind of hard to read behind the filter. |
