I had a friend tell me that there was one an Allis factory in Terre Haute, Ind. I grew up near here but don't remember it.  He has never been affiliated with Ag in any way and could have it mixed up with a dealer or something else. Maybe some non Ag Allis production ? Just wondering.  Thx in advance, Jim

Yes There was a plant in Terre Haute. I know they made aeronautical and I believe even some missle stuff. Picture and products are in the AC comic book. No longer have mine but I bet someone here could scan.

My  Grandpa worked there I think in the late 50's. IT was at the old J.I. CASE plant.

Thanks Mike and Richard.  I certainly don't remember it but in thr fifties and early sixties Terre Haute was real big town to me and didn't obsrve much when we went there.  I mostly went there to the movies on dates in the late 60's, (wasn't thinking about MFG)  By the way Mike, the grandkids love that pedal tractor when they come to visit. I won't mention the color on this forum.  Jim
