The fork lift will fire but refuses to idle. Tank is full batteries fully charged. Just looking for any advise or incite on what could be causing this.

It could be the carburetor is partially plugged, a tired fuel pump, a serious vacuum leak or the timing is out, however, the latter is not likely if it was running OK previously and nobody has touched the setting. Good luck in your trouble shooting. I had a car once that wouldn't idle but would run with enough gas pedal... turned out to be water in the gas.
