    Posted: 19 Feb 2016 at 9:30pm
So for those of you who follow our posts, we thought we should share this for everyone. We are" Roots Of Motive Power" members and have fun participating and helping in the events.  We had left 4 of our collection tractors at Roots after the Sept Steam Fest  when we got called away to fight wildfires. It wasn't a big deal because we usually leave them there for display anyway.

In early Dec. they contacted us to see if we would like to leave our tractors there for display in there new "TRACTOR BARN".   It was a win- win for everyone. They had recently finished a building to house
tractors in.  So for now we put the 4 tractors that were left there, that will change. We will move the "PRETTY TRACTORS" in and out for shows and displays

So here are links to the videos of moving these tractors.

I'll stop here to see if this works.

So this is what they look like now, or back in December. We'll be bringing out the 2 pretty tractors to prep for the Redwood Region Logging Conference antique display in March.

What do you mean, the two pretty ones. They all look pretty from here.

Mel, you are a testament to the strength of the man and the Allis machine restoring these old behemoths to functional, AC built good machines but it took a good man to get them here where so many can understand how well US machines USED to be.
